CAMERATA BALEAR ORCHESTRA

The Camerata Balear Orchestra is a training orchestra, made up mostly of young musicians aged 14 and over, who are currently or have previously studied at the Professional Conservatory and the Higher Conservatory of the Balearic Islands and excel in their instrument. The orchestra provides a first real experience as a musician in many cases, and in others, allows for further development of their instrument. The permanent roster is made up of 35 chamber musicians, who participate in a series of concerts throughout the year within the Balearic Classical Music Festival, offering the traditional New Year's Concert or its Opera Gala alongside the Orfeó Balear, among others. The Camerata Balear Orchestra offers a versatile and carefully selected repertoire that ranges from great masterpieces of the classical symphonic repertoire to more contemporary creations, soundtracks, musicals, and operas. He has performed Mozart's Symphony No. 40 , Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 , Schubert's Unfinished Symphony , Haydn's Symphony No. 101 "The Clock" , Vivaldi's Four Seasons and many other pieces. He has also performed symphonic-choral works from the classical repertoire with the Orfeó Balear, such as Vivaldi's Gloria and Gounod's Misa Brevis, among others.
