More than twenty children between the ages of 7 and 15 are part of the Orfeó Infantil Balear, the choral school of the Orfeó Balear, which was launched in the 2024/25 academic year. The selected young people are introduced to singing techniques and musical language in a fun way with qualified and specialized teachers and are accompanied on piano during rehearsals. They participate, along with the Orfeó Balear and the sister choirs of the Balearic Community, in some concerts throughout the season. The Orfeó Infantil rehearses in a small theater on Fridays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. After the children's choir stage, the children have the opportunity to continue as members of the Orfeó Balear after passing the entrance exam, thus participating in major symphonic-choral productions and in a prestigious cultural community. Additionally, children over the age of 13 who are studying a musical instrument at a conservatory or music school can participate in the Camerata Balear Orchestra. Rehearsals will take place on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. in the same space where the choir sings.
As for its repertoire, the Orfeó Infantil Balear has covered songs from films, musicals, popular songs, world music, etc.
